Fotor
I chose fotor fpr many reasons, one of the main reasons is I didn't have to download this onto my laptop. With having a chrome book somethings aren't compatible with my laptop and with downloading software it takes up space. This isn't near as good as what we used at school of course but it does the job for the most part. One thing that I don't understand/is complicated is the levels. Overall it works but I miss the old software we used.
lighting
For our 3rd project we done a lighting scavenger hunt, we had to have many different techniques for lighting. This even included texture and silhouette.
Bokeh
For our 2nd project in the second semester we done bokeh. Bokeh was made popular in 1997 by Mike Johnston the editor of Photo Techniques at the time. To create Bokeh you put your camera on Automatic focus and blur out the dark image. Bokeh was my favorite project so far and rather easy once you get the hold of it. We had to have 2 stock photos of bokeh, 1 regular photo of bokeh, 2 subjects with bokeh and 1 picture with fake/edited bokeh.
Contrast
For our 1st first project in the second semester we done contrast. We done color contrast and subject contrast. All of these are color contrast.
5 best photos
leading lines
For our 4th project we learned about leading lines that pull our eye to the subject or the line is our subject. Most of these pictures were taking in Ferncliff State Park.
Rule of thirds and golden ratio
For this project we had to do rule of thirds and leading lines. Rule of thirds is where the subject of the photo is off centered and in one of the corners or lines. Golden Ratio is similar but only meets a small portion in the photo. Most of these photos were taken in FernCliff state park.
Subject
In this project we learned how to pretty much crop a photo and make sure the subject is focused and clear. This project was rather easy, the thing I struggled with most is what to actually take pictures of considering I really really favor nature/wildlife photography. My favorite picture that I took so far it the third picture, the Marigolds.
